My words exactly.When walking around the gardens on today's very sunny day I was feeling like I'm tasting better side of Athens. Place, sometimes called" Lungs of the city" gives you a feeling like nothing outside of its walls matters, not even garbage men on strike.
Massive, Washingtonia filifera palms growing in the gardens. The tree is native to California and it was imported from there. Can leave up to 250 years!
Narrow and shaded pathways have a combined total length of 7.5 km.
