The Ilias Lalaounis Jewellery Museum

As it is said on the website " The Ilias Lalaounis Jewellery Museum is a unique museum devoted to art of jewellery and decorative arts."

Close to Acropolis Metro Station, therefore just few steps from Acropolis itself, you will find this amazing place which will make every woman think that there is no such a thing as too much jewellery ( I would like to say "bling" but I want to sound more sophisticated).

Work of art, stones that have no price on the them. Their permanent collection includes more than 4000 pieces which were designed between years of 1940 and 2000 by the museum's founder - Ilias Lalounis.

Since the last time Athens hasn't changed, but I think that I see it differently. Now revisiting the same spots I enjoy them even more, I would say. With no rush and no judgement. Today it was time for Panorama Voula. In my itinerary appears very rarely...it is simply difficult to reach. But oh boy, it is so worth it. No matter if cloudy, or sunny the view always amazes me, takes my breath away. Even though you drive there ( unless you desire some serious hike ) the feeling once you reach the top, could be easily compared to reaching the top of the mountain. Sunshine today made it spectacular but the northern wind allowed only for 5 minutes ( I started having doubts if I'm Polish). On the way back home I had this amazing feeling, like I've been out of Athens for days, not hours. With now fresh mind and remembering the horizon it's time to start rolling.

Getting there: Bus / Tram to Glyfada or Voula  and then change for bus to Panorama Voula
